Rockstar will definitely release GTA Vice City for iOS as a universal binary. These enhancements include updated character models, lighting effects and new and more precise firing and targeting options. Rockstar also adds in its press statement that this new port comes with several enhancements exclusive to the iOS platform. The controls in particular have been optimized for touch screen interface and have been made customizable. Rockstar has really put in a lot of effort to make the GTA Vice City for iOS port work. This isn't some half baked port that users will have a hard time playing with. GTA Vice City for iOS commemorates the passing of that iconic decade. This title was originally released for conventional gaming consoles an entire decade back. In a press statement today Rockstar has confirmed its intentions of releasing this nostalgic title for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch on the aforementioned date. It has been announced today that GTA Vice City for iOS will be released on 6th December 2012. Who doesn't like playing games on their iOS device? Rockstar games is well aware of this fact and that is why they have ported one of their most successful titles over to Apple's mobile platform.
